The Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Agricultural University jointly organized the Second Regional Consultation on Digital Financial Services at the Local Level in Bangladesh on 21 March 2023, at Mymensingh, Bangladesh. In the event, Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman Khan, Department of Agricultural Finance and Banking, BAU presented the keynote paper on "Adoption and Potency of Digital Financial Services among Farmers in Bangladesh". Iffat Anjum, Project Manager, PRI provided welcome remarks in the event, and Dr. K. M. Motafizur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, BAU was present as the Chief Guest. The event brought together stakeholders from different NGOs, agricultural workers, and academia to provide a platform for effective discussion on the challenges of DFS among farmers and agricultural workers.
